Akash S is an emerging sustainability professional with a strong background in environmental engineering and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Currently pursuing his M.Tech in Environmental Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology, he has developed expertise in sustainability analysis, carbon footprint assessment, and environmental impact evaluation.

During his internship at Vrtta Green Solutions, Akash gained hands-on experience in whole building LCA, embodied carbon assessments, and the environmental performance analysis of construction materials. He has worked extensively with tools such as One Click LCA, SimaPro, and openLCA to evaluate the sustainability of infrastructure and urban development projects.

Beyond LCA, Akash has a keen interest in air pollution modelling, wastewater treatment analysis, and GIS-based environmental mapping. His academic research has focused on integrating environmental data with engineering solutions to drive sustainable decision-making. With a strong analytical mindset and a passion for climate-conscious innovation, Akash is committed to contributing to OCL’s mission of building a more sustainable and resilient future.
